Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

Jangansa Temple

Jangansa Temple Jangansa Temple, located at the base of Bulkwangsan Mountain in Janganeup, Gijang-gun, is surrounded by brooks meandering through a valley in a forest of luxuriant broadleaf woods. The temple was built by Wonhyo Daesa, a Buddhist Master, in the thirteenth year of King Munmu’ reign during the Shilla Dynasty. In the front of the grounds stands the Da ewungjeon, or the main wing of the temple, which was designated by the City of Busan as Ancient Monument No. 37. Myeongbujeon stands on the right side and, to its left, Wungjinjeon
