Geumjeongsan Mountain

Geumjeongsan Mountain This is the guardian mountain of Busan with its picturesque landscape interspersed with granite cliffs and rocks of fantastic shapes as well as luxuriant woods and streams of clear water. The Geumjeong Fortress, built during the period of the Three Dynasties, is the largest in the country. The 4 solid castle gates and observation towers of the fortress are an integral part of the scenery of Geumjeongsan Mountain for hikers


Course 1 (8 km, requires 3 hours and 30 minutes) Busan University → Gobyeoldae → East Gate → Fan Rock → North Gate → Mt.Geumjeongsan<br>Course 2 (7 km, requires 2 hours) Dongnae → Mandeok Hill → Seokbul Temple → Sanggyegebong<br>Course 3 (6 km, requires 2 hours) Geumgang Park → South Gate → Sanggyebong

Geumgang Park

Geumgang Park This park is located on the south eastern slopes of Geumjeongsan Mountain. Because there are the Busan Folk Arts Gallery, Marine Natural History Museum and various recreational and sports facilities in the park, it offers many attractions for visitors. The night view of Geumjeongsan Mountain and the city of Busan from the cable car are particularly beautiful

Oncheoncheon Citizens Park

Oncheoncheon Citizens Park The Oncheoncheon (Oncheon Stream), meandering through Dongnae-gu, Yeonje-gu and Busanjin-gu, has been re-born as a space for citizens. Various recreational facilities have been provided there, with cultural performances and programs in which citizens participate throughout the year. Along the walking trail, beautiful flowers bloom all year rou nd, as if greeting passers-by

Geumgang Botanical Gardens

Geumgang Botanical Gardens A great variety of plants, including over 560 tropical plants, grow here in harmony with natural stones. One of the 3 largest botanical gardens in Korea, this garden is full of the refreshing scent of plants and provides a good space to relax for citizens
